Good day all,

For now, I am going to primarily use the blog to administer my new free goalie mask paint job give away but will post other news here as well.

The main thing right now is to do something meaningful for the hockey community that gives so much to me and what better than what I do best - bringing your ideas to life on your helmets and masks.

The more intricate or radical the better too. It allows me to stretch and grow as an artist and this contest will allow me to interact with hockey fans all over the world which will be great as well.

The success of this contest will certainly influence my decision to make it an annual event and maybe to even offer more than one prize.

If you have landed here and think this could be a cool contest, I want to ask  you to help spread the word on to every goalie you know and get them to compete. Then come back and comment on their submission to see if you can influence a win for them.

Should make for some healthy competition between towns, leagues, teams and goalies too.

Remember what Wayne  Gretzky said,  ”100% of the shots you don’t take don’t go in.”
