Hi, My name is Lena Benwood.

The reason why I am entering this contest, is because I want a custom painted goalie mask, not just the plain black one I already have. I like my helmet, but it is really boring having it just one color. It would make me look twice as good, and players would be scared to shoot!

I like any red, and white designs having to do with Canada, or with my team logo on it. I also like masks with lots of pictures and designs, not just one. Red, white, and black, are my team colors, so it would be awesome if my jersey, mask, and Canada flag goalie stick matched!

I play for the Bantam Girls ‘Winterhawks’ at the North Shore Winter Club in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I started playing organized hockey when I was seven. I played defense for the first four seasons, then switched to goalie, after trying it out playing inline hockey one summer. My team has already gotten in the ‘Hockey Now’ newspaper twice this season. 

I have two favorite brands of equipment, which are RBK, and Vaughn, because they aren’t very hard to move in, and they have cool designs on their goalie pads, glove, and blocker. I hope I get to wear a custom painted mask very soon!
